EXPLORING THE BEACHES OF PANAMA

The locals know that Panama lacks the infrastructure to become a major tourist nation like Mexico, Spain or Greece. However, this didn’t stop Costa Rica from becoming the number one tourist destination in the world in less then 5 years.

A lot of us are getting tired of the manicured lawns of the resort hotels. After a while, all the resorts look the same. Many people now need to experience a connection with nature. They want to see the butterflies fly, hear the birds chirping and have the iguanas cross their paths as they take a leisurely stroll.

Five star resorts are giving way to hiking trails, jungle tours and street fiestas. Adventure and eco tourism has taken over in a big way. Costa Rica pales by comparison to Panama’s biodiversity.

The government of Panama has implemented policies that will make this little country “rock”. The country will experience an international invasion of thousands of tourists that will come to relax on the beach, play in the casinos and experience the Panamanian ecotourism. We must work together with enthusiasm to show the world that there is much more to Panama than a Canal.
